Born from her love of illustration, Karen Schipper started creating stationery as a passion project. She hand-illustrates every design, blending bright colors, humor, and whimsy to craft paper goods that are as functional as they are joyful. Whether it’s a handwritten note that brings a smile or a notepad that makes everyday tasks a little more fun, Karen’s goal is simple: to make it easy to celebrate, connect, and add a touch of joy to the everyday.

  • Hi, I’m Karen! I grew up in Hong Kong, surrounded by vibrant colors, stunning landscapes, and a family who loved to travel. My sister and I would always send each other postcards from our adventures, which sparked my lifelong love for illustration and the joy of sending mail.

    After earning my BFA in Graphic Design, I spent a decade working as a designer and art director. But through it all, illustration was always something I did on the side—something I didn’t think could be more than just a hobby.

  • Becoming a mom during the pandemic changed everything for me. It taught me the importance of creating without fear of criticism and embracing community over isolation. It was this shift that led me to pursue my passion for illustration full-time.

    In 2022, I launched my stationery line, hoping to spread joy and wonder through my designs. It’s been a journey of learning, growth, and plenty of support from wonderful people along the way.
